How the search function works?

About this article

This article will details how the search functionality works in the WebApp and in the Templafy add-in in Office.

How the Templafy search engine works?

A Templafy search is done within a specific library e.g. Document Library, Slide Library or Image Library.

Search results will only be shown for files that are within the relevant library.

  • It is not possible to do a search across libraries (file types)

Searchable keywords

Following searchable items are included in the search:

  • File name
  • Tags added via the Templafy admin interface
  • Text on slides (slides and slide elements)
  • Description (In Templafy admin interface)
